Key Drawer does not collect any data about you. That is the whole policy. The rest of this page explains what that means in practice, because “we don't collect data” is a sentence a lot of apps write while collecting data.
Everything you put into Key Drawer — the names of your keys, what each one opens, your notes, and any photos you attach — is written to a database file inside the app's own storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
There is no account to create, no email address to give, and no way to sign in, because there is nothing to sign in to.
Key Drawer makes no network requests. There is no server behind it, no analytics service, no crash reporting service, and no advertising software. The app has no code capable of sending your keys anywhere, which is a stronger guarantee than a promise not to.
The one exception is Apple's own App Store, which the app contacts when you open the unlock screen and when you buy or restore Unlimited Keys. That exchange is between your device and Apple. It tells Key Drawer only whether this Apple Account owns the unlock — never who you are, and never anything about your keys. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
If you attach a photo to a key, Key Drawer receives that single image through Apple's photo picker, which runs outside the app. The app cannot see the rest of your photo library at any point, and does not ask for permission to, which is why iOS never shows you a photo access prompt.
The image you pick is resized and stored alongside that key on your device. It is not uploaded, not analysed, and not shared.
Nothing, except the App Store purchase exchange described above.
Deleting a key removes it and its photo. Deleting the app removes the whole database, including every key in it. There is no backup on our side to ask us to delete, because there is no our side — if you want your keys to survive a lost phone, keep them in your device backup.
The app collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
If a future version of Key Drawer ever collects anything, this page will say so plainly before that version ships, and the change will be described here rather than quietly reworded.
